We are excited to invite you to the International Week: “UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND GRANT ACTIVITY”, which will be held online in November and December 2024!
This event is organized as part of the Erasmus+ BOOST project. Together, we aim to promote sustainable internationalization processes for small local universities in Ukraine, enhance administrative and academic staff's grant management and project-writing skills, and empower university communities.
Event Dates: November 26 & December 5, 12, 16, and 18, 2024.
Languages: English and Ukrainian.

Day 1 (November 26, 2024)
📢 November 26, 2024 marked the first day of the International Week: “UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND GRANT ACTIVITY”, held as part of the Erasmus+ BOOST Project! 🌍✨
The Online Day 1: Erasmus as a Tool for Internationalization included inspiring and insightful presentations by esteemed speakers:
1️. "The EU Erasmus+ Program: A Concept for Transforming Higher Education Institutions and a Tool for European Integration" delivered by Svitlana Shytikova, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine.
2️. "The BOOST Project" presented by Mykola Kapliienko, Izmail State University of Humanities.
3️. "Erasmus without Papers" delivered by Iwona Dwojacka, University of Applied Sciences in Elblag, Poland.
4️. "Getting Ideas for Erasmus Projects from Thin Air" presented by Oleksandra Golovko, BOOST Project Coordinator, University of Tartu, Estonia.
💡 Engaging Q&A sessions followed each presentation, allowing participants to delve deeper into the topics and share experiences.










Day 2 (December 5, 2024)
🌍 International Week: Day 2 Highlights 🌟
The second day of the International Week “UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND GRANT ACTIVITY,” held as part of the Erasmus+ BOOST project, brought together experts and educators for insightful presentations on Erasmus+ Projects by our Partner-Universities.

Speakers: Yurii Lishchuk & Dmytro Klak, Kremenets Taras Shevchenko Regional Academy of Humanities and Pedagogy (Ukraine).🌟 "Projects of Partner Universities":
Project A: Alona Chorna, Bogdan Khmelnitsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University.

Day 3 (December 12, 2024)
🌍 International Week Continues! 🌟
On December 12, 2024, the third day of the International Week “UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND GRANT ACTIVITY,” organized within the Erasmus+ BOOST project, was dedicated to explore the University Internationalization Strategy.
🎓 Programme included reports:
📌 "Implementing an Internationalization Strategy for a Displaced HEI". 👤 Speaker: Sergiy Kolesnichenko, Donbas National Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (Ukraine);
📌 "Internationalization Strategy: From Task to Development and Implementation". 👤 Speaker: Tetiana Konovalenko, Bogdan Khmelnitsky Melitopol State Pedagogical University (Ukraine).
📌 "Academic Mobility and Intercultural Competence in Erasmus+: Pathways to New Project Opportunities". 👥 Speakers: Iryna Kohut and Vladyslav Hannushchenko, Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University (Ukraine).
The day was filled with insightful discussions and practical ideas to enhance internationalization process in higher education institutions.








Day 4 (December 16, 2024)
🌍 Day 4 of International Week “UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND GRANT ACTIVITY” 🎓
The fourth day of the International Week, held within the framework of the Erasmus+ BOOST project, focused on KA2 CBHE: Project Writing Seminars.
✨ Highlights of the Day
🔹 Speaker: Oleksandra Golovko, BOOST Project Coordinator, University of Tartu (Estonia)
Topics discussed:
✅ "CBHE project: Challenges and Pitfalls"
✅ "CBHE application main points"
✅ Open discussion: "How to turn an idea into a project?"
Oleksandra provided practical advice, answered questions about the CBHE Erasmus+ programme, writing a new application, project budget creation, and shared strategies to get started.

Day 5 (December 18, 2024)
The final day of the BOOST project International Week “UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AND GRANT ACTIVITY” was dedicated to the Organization of International Office for Support of Research, Academic, and Non-Academic Staff Internationalization. 🌟
✨ Key Presentations:
🔹 Mykola Kapliienko, Izmail State University of Humanities (Ukraine)
· Presented the Roadmap for local universities in small Ukrainian cities, highlighting strategies to enhance capacity, foster innovation, digitalization, and internationalization.
🔹 Aleš Oven, University of Primorska (Slovenia), Sven Idarand, T4EU Secretary General (Estonia), and Irina Sikorska, Mariupol State University (Ukraine)
· Discussed the Transform4Europe Alliance as a European strategy, emphasizing universities' roles as agents of change in green and digital transformation and their global leadership within the EU.
🔹 Nataliia Hertsovska, Mukachevo State University (Ukraine)
· Shared her university’s first Erasmus+ experience and steps toward boosting international activities at MSU.
✨ Moderator: Alesia Golovko, BOOST International Coordinator
· Summarized the day’s discussions and shared her insights into managing Erasmus+ projects.
🌍 This final session wrapped up an enriching month of collaboration, inspiration, and practical guidance for universities to thrive in internationalization efforts.
